A Ripple in Time

YES! It's finally done!

This is the result of my water distortion assignment for my Drawing III class annnd it's also a self-portrait. There's a funny story about this one- I had to take the reference pictures in the shower...my lens kept fogging cause I was too much of a sissy to use cold water.

I was uber excited about this project because I've always been fascinated with water (but had never really experimented with it) and we had to really really push the details, and as my watchers know- I love details. Like, passionately.

This was done on 16 x 20 Pastel paper and I used both Rembrant and Nupastels.
